How to make a nested crosstab selectable in Active reports

Crosstab can be very complicated in practical usage.  Sometimes, you want crosstab as data container to set variable. However, if the crosstab is a nested crosstab, somehow it doesn’t work. The solution is that you need to specify a default measure; even the default measure is not needed.

Please use the sample below, you can check report specification and .mht file for reference (version 10.2.0)

For the nested crosstab, you don’t need Revenue as default measure. But if you don’t specify that, the crosstab is not selectable. Certainly, you want to make revenue hide in real report, but you need to specify this default measure.
